The Head of the Faculty of Natural Resources at Lorestan University has been appointed.

Dr. Mehrdad Dadsetani, the Head of Lorestan University, issued a decree appointing Dr. Hamed Naghavi as the Head of the Faculty of Natural Resources at Lorestan University, and expressed appreciation to Dr. Ali Haghighizadeh, the former Head of the Faculty, for his activities and accomplishments.
According to the Public Relations of Lorestan University, Dr. Hamed Naghavi, a faculty member of the Forestry Department of the Faculty of Natural Resources at Lorestan University, holds the academic rank of "Associate Professor."
The introduction ceremony for Dr. Hamed Naghavi and the honoring of Dr. Ali Haghighizadeh was held on Wednesday morning, March 13th of the current year, in the office of the Head of Lorestan University.
Some of Dr. Naghavi's background:
1_ Director of the Forestry Department of Lorestan University.
2_ Supervision and consultation of more than 30 theses and dissertations at the Master's and Doctoral levels.
3_ Member of the specialized commission of the Faculty of Natural Resources at Lorestan University.
4_ Author of 60 scientific and research articles in national and international journals.
The decree issued by the Head of Lorestan University, addressed to Dr. Naghavi, states:
"It is expected that you, with reliance on God Almighty, will lead the Faculty based on the laws, policies, approved programs, and the Islamic University document, and the following matters should be prioritized in your executive work:
_ Continuous supervision of the educational and research activities of the faculty professors.
_ Developing operational mechanisms to establish or expand the relationship of faculty members with the community and industry.
_ Assisting in increasing effective and purposeful interactions of the faculty with the organizations and institutions of the province, especially organizations related to natural resources.
It is hoped that by following Islamic teachings, scientific principles, the strategy of the national consensus government, and by attracting the cooperation of academics and experts, you will perform the assigned duties appropriately."
