Held at Lorestan University's Faculty of Agriculture: Presentation Session on Experiences from Overseas Study Opportunities

On the occasion of Research and Technology Week and in line with the National Conference on the Civilizational Governance Model of Science and Technology and the Comprehensive Document on Scientific International Relations, a scientific meeting on the topic of "Experiences of Study Opportunities at McGill University" was held with a speech by Dr. Hamidreza Eisvand, Professor of the Department of Production Engineering and Plant Genetics at Lorestan University, with the presence of the President and a group of professors and students of the Faculty of Agriculture of the University.
According to the Public Relations of Lorestan University, at the beginning of this meeting, Dr. Mahmoud Gholami, the secretary of the conference, provided explanations regarding the role of correct decision-making as one of the missions of academics in the macro-decisions of governance.
He explained that one of the best and least expensive solutions for decision-making is to use the experiences of professors who have spent study opportunities abroad.
Subsequently, Dr. Eisvand introduced his research in the field of CFS preparation technology from bacteria.
He emphasized the effective role of this technology in sustainable agriculture, and discussed the importance of using these methods in improving agricultural performance and reducing destructive environmental effects.
He referred to his valuable experiences at McGill University and considered the advanced educational system of this university, its benefit from the presence of international students, the strong relationship between the university and industries and society, and the provision of research budgets from demand-oriented projects as the most important advantages of this university. Also, the freedom of action of professors in accepting graduate students in accordance with research projects was another key point raised in this meeting.
Dr. Eisvand also compared the research system of McGill University and domestic universities and, emphasizing the differences, pointed out the importance of demand-oriented scientific research. This meeting ended with questions and answers from the participants and a discussion around the topics raised.
