Emphasis on Integrating "Science" and "Practice" in the Collaboration Meeting between Lorestan University and the General Department of Environmental Protection of the Province

A virtual meeting was held between Lorestan University and the General Department of Environmental Protection of the Province with the aim of expanding bilateral applied scientific collaborations.
This meeting was held with the aim of strengthening bilateral cooperation and examining common scientific and executive fields in the field of environment, and the parties discussed and exchanged views on the expansion of scientific and executive cooperation.
The following points can be mentioned among the agreements of the meeting:
1. Utilizing the capacity of Lorestan University laboratories:
It was decided to use the potential of the university's laboratories to obtain a trusted environmental laboratory license.
2. Establishment of a wildlife and natural history museum:
The two sides agreed to cooperate to establish a wildlife and natural history museum in the Faculty of Natural Resources of Lorestan University.
3. Integrating scientific and executive capabilities:
The necessity of utilizing the scientific capacities of the university along with the executive capabilities of the General Department of Environment to improve the environmental conditions of the province was emphasized.
4. Development of training and skills enhancement:
Emphasis was placed on utilizing the facilities and services of both sides to strengthen the scientific level of the staff of the General Department of Environment and familiarize students with executive issues.
5. Formation of scientific committees and research councils:
It was decided that scientific committees and research councils should be formed as an auxiliary arm using the potential of the university to expand research collaborations.
6. Establishment of technology units and an environmental technology house:
The parties emphasized the establishment of technology units and an environmental technology house at the university in order to guide the technological environment among students and support intelligent activities in the management of environmental fields.
At the end of the meeting, Dr. Hossein Hatami, while appreciating the active participation of the members, emphasized the need to continue such collaborations to achieve common goals in the field of environment.
It was decided that the necessary measures for the implementation of the approvals would be put on the agenda of the parties.
