Introduction to the Faculty

The Faculty of Agriculture of Lorestan University was established in 1994, 11 kilometers south of Khorramabad, on a land area of 70 hectares. Initially, the faculty commenced operations with the fields of Plant Production, Animal Production, and Agronomy and Plant Breeding. Currently, this faculty comprises ten academic departments, including: Agronomy and Plant Breeding, Plant Protection, Soil Science, Animal Science, Horticulture, Water Engineering, Natural Resources, Rangeland and Watershed Management, Biosystems Engineering, Agricultural Economics and Rural Development. Currently, 1800 students are enrolled in undergraduate, master's, and doctoral programs at this faculty.
