Student Scientific Association

About the Plant Protection Scientific Association

The Plant Protection Student Scientific Association of Lorestan University commenced its activities in 2019 with the aim of enhancing students' academic level, attracting talented, creative, and outstanding students, encouraging active students in scientific and teamwork activities, holding various scientific workshops, organizing scientific visits, fostering motivation in scientific endeavors, establishing research-oriented scientific groups, identifying outstanding students, collaborating with other university entities, and conducting other diverse programs.

The functions of the Plant Protection Scientific Association include:

  • Publication of the "Wheat" journal
  • Visit to the Khorramabad Agricultural and Industrial Complex
  • Holding specialized workshops, including the cultivation and breeding of button mushrooms, proposal writing, cultivation and breeding of ornamental plants, etc.
  • Holding an ornamental plant exhibition at Lorestan University
  • Holding an ornamental plant exhibition at the Quran and Etrat Festival
