Biotechnology and Plant Breeding Laboratory Complex: This complex is equipped with instruments and devices related to molecular techniques and genetic engineering, with a significant portion of the laboratory dedicated to tissue culture and gene transfer equipment and facilities. It has facilities for maintaining transgenic plants (tissue culture chambers and transgenic research greenhouses, biosafety level 2). The research areas of this laboratory are related to biotechnology (such as markers, etc.). This complex, with the cooperation and financial-technical support of the Headquarters for the Development of Biotechnology of the Country, began its establishment in 2007 and is in the process of completion.
