Biosystems Engineering Group
Lorestan province possesses significant potential for agricultural production due to the presence of rivers and fertile lands. The presence of technical and local experts in the field of agricultural machinery can contribute to the mechanization of agriculture and, consequently, increase the quantity and quality of agricultural products. The Biosystems Engineering Department of Lorestan University was established in 2013 with the authorization to offer a Master's degree in Agricultural Machinery Engineering. The following outlines the department's facilities and capabilities.
1- Educational Facilities include:
1-1- A workshop for engines and tractors equipped with educational cutaway engines manufactured by Fiat Italy.
1-2- An agricultural machinery workshop that includes all agricultural machines from tillage to harvesting.
1-3- A welding and sheet metal workshop for practical work.
