Memorandum from the Secretary of the Green Management Steering Council of Lorestan University on the Occasion of Nature Day

Apr 01, 2025

Dr. Mehdi Soleimani-Motlagh, Secretary of the Steering Council for Green Management at Lorestan University, wrote in a note on the occasion of Nature Day: Nature Day is the revival of the connection between humans and the earth with collective wisdom and sustainable management. The text of the note is as follows: Today is not a day to simply take refuge in nature, but an opportunity to remember our responsibility as part of this living ecosystem. The ancient culture of Sizdah Bedar is a symbol of wisdom that says: Human life depends on nature, so we should strive to preserve natural resources. Green management is today's choice for a sustainable tomorrow.
This means:
- Protecting water and soil resources.
- Smart energy consumption.
- Reducing waste and recycling materials.
- Preserving biodiversity by planting native trees and restoring pastures.
- Education and culture building for future generations.
Nature Day is a day for reflection and action.
Let us, not just today, but every day, protect the earth with awareness and responsibility.
Nature is our common heritage; if we do not take care of it today, tomorrow will be too late.
Will you also participate in this green movement?
