Dr. Ali Haghighizadeh, Head of the Faculty of Natural Resources at Lorestan University, issued a message commemorating March 5th, Tree Planting Day, and the beginning of Natural Resources Week.

According to the Public Relations Department of Lorestan University, the text of the message from the Head of the Faculty of Natural Resources at Lorestan University is as follows:

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

With pride and pleasure, I congratulate all students, professors, staff, and nature enthusiasts on the arrival of "Natural Resources Week" from March 5th to 12th.

This week is an opportunity to once again emphasize the importance of preserving and revitalizing natural resources as a valuable and vital heritage for present and future generations.

Natural resources, as the foundation of life and the basis for sustainable development, play an unparalleled role in meeting basic human needs, preserving biodiversity, and balancing ecosystems.

These resources, from forests and rangelands to water, soil, and air, not only ensure the health and well-being of society but are also a valuable legacy for future generations.

Preserving and revitalizing natural resources is a universal responsibility that is achieved through awareness, participation, and the commitment of all members of society.

Today, given environmental challenges such as climate change, deforestation, and pollution, attention to natural resources and their proper management has become more important than ever.

This year, Natural Resources Week is accompanied by the slogan "Empathy and Consensus for the Preservation of Natural Resources."

This slogan reminds us of the fact that only through cooperation, empathy, and collective participation can we move towards preserving and sustainably developing natural resources.

Let us, during this week, respect nature and the environment more than ever and strive to preserve these divine gifts.
