Commemoration of a Faculty Member of the Faculty of Natural Resources, Lorestan University, at the International Volunteer Day Ceremony

In a ceremony held at Milad Tower in Tehran to commemorate International Volunteer Day, Dr. Morteza Ghobadi, a faculty member of the Faculty of Natural Resources at Lorestan University and Director of the University's Environmental House, was honored for his valuable volunteer efforts in the field of education and public participation in environmental protection.

According to the Public Relations of Lorestan University, this ceremony, organized by the Secretariat for the Promotion of Volunteer Work, was dedicated to honoring the activities of volunteers in various fields.

Dr. Ghobadi, through his efforts in environmental education for various groups in local communities, nomads, villagers, tourists, primary schools, and executive agencies, has played an important role in raising public awareness and participation in environmental protection, which is in line with the tangible and practical social responsibility of the university.

In this regard, Dr. Ali Haghi Zadeh, Dean of the Faculty of Natural Resources at Lorestan University, told our reporter: "The Faculty of Natural Resources is proud that one of its faculty members, with a volunteer and committed spirit, has been recognized as a role model in the field of environmental protection. This success is an effective step in the path of developing environmental education and promoting a culture of natural resource conservation."

Dr. Haghi Zadeh stated: "International Volunteer Day is an opportunity not only to recognize the efforts of these individuals but also to change society's attitude towards volunteer activities.
