Dr. Mirazadi elaborated: "In today's world, where we are facing major challenges such as climate change, land use changes, and pressure on natural resources, effective territorial governance is a determining factor in achieving sustainable development."

She added: "This concept {effective territorial governance} emphasizes, on the one hand, the coordinated planning and management of resources and land, and on the other hand, considers intergenerational equity and environmental protection as its main axes."
