How to Review a Study Leave Application in 2015

     Applications from eligible faculty members for sabbatical leave are reviewed and opinions are announced annually for the following year, based on the relevant regulations, guidelines, and forms, as follows: -1 Review in the relevant academic department     -2 Review in the Faculty's Educational and Research Council. The applicants' documents and the results of their review, based on the prioritization criteria in Article 3 of the guidelines, are sent in a consolidated manner to the University's Research Deputy, by the end of Azar of each year, in a written letter from the respected Dean of the Faculty, specifying the type of application (sabbatical leave abroad, short-term sabbatical leave abroad - two-month summer -, sabbatical leave within the country) and indicating the order of priority for the applicants.    -3 Review in the University's Research Council. The council reviews the applications and documents of the respected faculty members based on the prioritization criteria in the guidelines, and announces the results, specifying the order of priority and the type of application (sabbatical leave abroad, short-term sabbatical leave abroad - two-month summer -, sabbatical leave within the country) for eligible applicants to the University's Sabbatical Leave Committee for decision-making.   -4 Review in the University's Sabbatical Leave Committee. The University's Sabbatical Leave Committee, with the membership of the respected deputies of Research and Technology, Education and Graduate Studies, Support and Development, and the Director of Research Affairs of the University as the secretary of the committee, reviews the applicants' applications, considering the prioritization criteria and the financial credits of the university, and sends the results to the University's Board of Trustees for final approval of the sabbatical leave application.
