Reminder of Educational Points for Virtual Examinations

In the meeting of the Lorestan University Board of Directors and the heads of the faculties, which was held on Thursday, June 18th of this year, it was emphasized "unanimously" that the end-of-term exams for the current semester of Lorestan University students will be held virtually.

In this regard, Dr. Kianoush Barani-Beiranvand, Head of the Vice-Chancellor for Education and Graduate Studies of Lorestan University, reminded of the important educational points regarding the end-of-term exams:

1_ Based on the directive issued by the Ministry of Science, the date of the end-of-term exams for students has been postponed to September 2025.

2_ Exams will be held virtually and on the university's virtual education system at lms.lu.ac.ir (without the WWW prefix). The choice of the exam method will be at the discretion of the course instructor.

3_ Please note that VPN should not be used to access the system and the website address (lms.lu.ac.ir) should be entered directly.

4_ In the LMS system, the username for professors is the faculty code and the password is the national code after aA (example: 6159730945aA).

For students, the username is the student number and the password is the national code after aA.

5_ Training files for working with the system have been uploaded on the first page of the Lorestan University website at lu.ac.ir (announcements and news section).

6_ Dear professors and students, be sure to participate in the mock exam {pilot exam} of the LMS system, the complete explanations of which have been uploaded on the first page of this system, in order to familiarize yourselves with the exam mechanism before the main exam.

7_ The date of the exams for international students will be announced later.
